Questions

Agility & Sport: common questions

Does my dog need obedience training first?

Basic reliability helps — a dog who comes when called and can hold a stay is safer around equipment and other dogs. We can build both together if needed.

Can agility help a nervous dog?

For some dogs, yes: agility promotes confidence by turning new challenges into wins. Very fearful dogs may need behavior work first — we’ll evaluate before recommending it.

What are the specialty workshops?

Group sessions in scent work and trick training. They’re a great way to keep training fun and give your dog new ways to use its brain.
