The first months set patterns you’ll live with for years. We help you build engagement, house manners and a shared language while your puppy is still deciding what the world means.

01Sound familiar?

Where owners usually start.

  • Hands, ankles and sleeves have become chew toys
  • Potty training falls apart right after coming back inside
  • The crate is a nightly negotiation
  • Every greeting turns into jumping
  • Walks are more tug-of-war than walk
  • You want to get it right before habits set

02What we build

Inside puppy training.

A white puppy climbing onto a tall training stand
  • 01

    Engagement

Name response and checking in with you — the channel everything else runs through.

  • 02

    House manners

A potty routine built on supervision, crate comfort and learning to settle.

  • 03

    Mouth manners

Redirecting biting and chewing toward what’s allowed, consistently across the household.

  • 04

    Leash foundations

Following, yielding to pressure and walking near you before pulling becomes a habit.

  • 05

    Confidence

New surfaces, sounds and people introduced at a pace your puppy can handle.

  • 06

    Handling

Paws, ears and mouth handled calmly so vet and grooming visits get easier.

03What to expect

Honest expectations.

Puppies change week to week. Expect progress in steps — including stretches that look like backsliding during adolescence. The plan adjusts as your puppy grows.

Questions

Puppy Training: common questions

How young can my puppy start?

There’s no such thing as too young to learn. Whether you have an 8-week-old puppy or a 10-year-old shelter dog, age isn’t what decides the outcome — history, consistency and follow-through matter more. We match the plan to your puppy’s age and energy.

Why does my puppy pee right after coming inside?

Successful house training depends on complete supervision. Go outside with your puppy so you know whether they’re “empty or full” when they come back in, and restrict access around the house until house training is complete.

Do you use food to train puppies?

Yes. Food is a primary reinforcer — rewarding in itself — and often the easiest, most powerful tool with young dogs. It isn’t the only reinforcer we use, and once a behavior is mastered, food is no longer necessary.

Is it private or group training?

Current packages combine private sessions with group sessions, so your puppy practices around other dogs and people once the basics are in place. We’ll recommend the mix at your consult.
