Questions

The New Puppy Blueprint: FAQ

How old should my puppy be?

The program is written for puppies from about 8 weeks to 6 months. There’s no such thing as too young to learn — the plan matches your puppy’s age and energy.

Does the program use food?

Yes. Food is a primary reinforcer — often the easiest, most powerful tool with young dogs — and it’s phased out once a behavior is mastered.

Is an online program a replacement for in-person training?

No — it’s a different starting point. Many owners make real progress with a clear system and feedback. If your dog has bitten, or you’re not seeing progress, in-person training is the next step, and Coach-Assisted pricing is credited toward it.

What if my dog has bitten someone?

Start in person. The Training Match will recommend an in-person evaluation first, and online material can support the plan that comes out of it.

How do video reviews work?

On the Guided and Coach-Assisted tiers you film short clips of practice sessions and upload them. Your trainer sends back recorded feedback on what to keep, change and try next.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes — move from DIY to Guided or Coach-Assisted by paying the difference.

Do you guarantee results?

No. A dog’s history, genetics, environment and your follow-through all play a role, and guaranteeing results would be unethical. What you get is a clear plan and honest feedback.

What’s the refund policy?

The refund policy is shown before checkout.
